“Through our shared learnings and experiences with Bidvest Freight and other ports we are looking at attracting more cargo to Walvis Bay and Lüderitz. As a port Namibia needs to be more competitive in our service offering. I’ve spoken to Zambian truck drivers who said when they enter Namibia they feel safe, unlike the threats of hijackings in other countries. We need to keep that positive factor of Namibia in place, and as an industry ensure that we continue to deliver excellent customer service.”
